Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, household and athlete profiles, contact-form messages, training preferences, bookings, account-support requests, and community posts, comments, photos, and videos.

We also maintain transaction identifiers, purchase and refund history, package credits, notification delivery records, security and audit events, device or browser information, and limited network information used for fraud prevention, rate limiting, and account security. Stripe receives payment details directly; Grit Over Gift does not store complete card numbers.

How we use information

• Provide training availability, instructor selection, booking, payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and customer support.
• Operate household accounts, athlete profiles, package credits, receipts, and service notifications.
• Moderate the private member community, investigate reports, and protect players, families, staff, and the service.
• Maintain business records, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.

When information is shared

Information is shared only as needed with service providers that operate payment processing, hosting and security, email or notifications, file storage and scanning, and business administration. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect safety or legal rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or use the member portal for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Athletes and family accounts

Parents or guardians should create and manage accounts for minor athletes and should upload a minor's photo or video only when they have permission. Do not post school schedules, private contact details, precise locations, or other sensitive player information in the community.

Retention and control

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, secure the platform, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and safety obligations. Retention differs by record type; payment, audit, or booking records may need to be retained after an account closes.

Signed-in members can export their account information and submit a verified deletion request from the account panel or iOS app. You may also contact Grit Over Gift through the main website. We will verify the request and explain any information that must be retained or anonymized.

Security and changes

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, signed payment notifications, audit records, and operational monitoring designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, so contact us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material revisions will be posted here with a new effective date.
